i am a rock, i am an island
SeasonalI bought a cactus. His name is Martin and he lives in a happy blue pot. He is not so prickly that he can't be touched; he just requires caution during interaction. I like that about Martin, he doesn't allow himself to be bullied.
Martin is going to be my best friend in college. I have my books and my poetry to protect me.
